We Three Kings via Instagram

After very little planning, no practice, and a lot of inspiration to record a couple of Christmas tunes, me and a few friends got together for a “Live off the floor” recording to release a digital download of “Christmas Balls”.

I made this Youtube video to go along with the song “We Three Kings” because I thought it would be interesting to create an entire music video from Instagram hashtags. For those who are looking at your computer screen all confused because of the word “hashtag” and you’re trying to figure out if it’s some sort of drug paraphernalia, it’s simply a way for Instagram users to publicly share their photos using “tags” or keywords. So, what I did was take the lyrics of “We Three Kings” and about every third word or so, I searched Instagram for that tag, took a screenshot from my phone, then put it all together to this new version of the song we recorded for your audible and visual enjoyment (especially those of you with ADHD). There are 2 songs to be released on this 2 song digital-only album and everything is being offered at a “pay whatever you want” basis.

Hopefully you’ll want and it would be stellar if you can afford to pay.

We Three Kings Lyrics

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we traverse afar.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain
Following yonder star.

Born a king on Bethlehem’s plain,
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.

CHORUS
O – star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.

Frankincense to offer have I,
Incense owns a Day-a-tea nigh.
Prayer and praising all men raising,
Worship Him, God on high.

Myrrh is mine: Its bitter perfume,
Breathes a life of gathering gloom.
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding dying,
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.

Glorious now behold Him arise,
King and God and Sacrifice.
Alleluia, Alleluia – Sounds through the earth and skies.
